Also, a question about pademelons... which I am probably just too lazy to look up... are they just kinda miniature wallabies or is there more to it then that?

"It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small." -Neil Armstrong
but no, they're not wallabies. They're pademelons. The macropod family has two subfamilies and quite a few genus', with kangaroos and wallabies most people think of, being the two most known, in the macropus genus. Pademelon is in a sister genus all to itself.
(Although, the name "kangaroo" and "wallaby" also gets tossed between genus'. There's a few small 'roos called wallaby, and a few large wallabies called 'roos, and then there's things like the tree-kangaroo, Dorcopsis, wallaroo and hare-wallaby. It's mainly just being descriptive
kangaroo: big and in plains
wallaby: small and in forests
pademelon: smaller and in forests
tree-kangaroo: looks like a 'roo in a tree
wallaroo: fuck knows
